Samuel the Eagle Cat is now a cat who comes to the window for pets, but also because he really really wants treats. Of all the cats, Sam’s love of Greenies and Party Mix is unequaled and ever since his discovery of these items he has been trying to convince me that he should just be able to live on treats. Here is Sam not liking my explanation that Party Mix is candy and he has to have real food for breakfast. Sam’s thinking, “well, wet food is okay, but it’s not candy…why can’t I just eat the candy?”
Well I know everyone’s justifiably freaking out about the GOP passing the ACA repeal/Trumpcare through the House, but in alley cat news, Samuel the Eagle Cat had a House Exploring Adventure today.
Sam had never been inside a house before at all so this is a lot of new things for him. He’s very brave for exploring all over the place. These photos will reveal that I did not make my bed and will let a cat with outside paws prance all over my bed if he’s absolutely adorable but you probably guessed that about me already.
Sam left via the bedroom window and looked at me once he realized he’d explored his way back outside like, “What? How’d this happen?”
I love this little furman beyond reason but dang if Genius Cat isn’t on a major pee-athon. He barrels his way into the kitchen and will pee on something before I can even close the screen behind him. I’ve been very careful about letting him into the living room ever since three days ago he snuck in and peed on the curtain in like two seconds and four days ago he peed on Boo’s leash. But this morning there was some paper on the floor in the kitchen and when he came in for Banana Time he started peeing right away. The paper, packing material from grocery deliveries, is something that we leave there because he and Boo like to play on it and if Genius Cat pees on it we just throw it away and Febreeze the house.
